Does Glory of the Lord protect the two artifacts on Book of the Covenant if BotC is in Solomon's Temple? I ask this based on the recent Watchful Servant deck that was designed to have both The New Covenant and Josiah's Covenant active at the same time. Does this work?
Glory of the Lord (Ki)
Type: Lamb • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Place in territory. Holder's Solomon's Temple and the artifact in it cannot be discarded or negated by an opponent. Discard this card if Asherah Pole is in holder's Solomon's Temple. • Play As: Place in territory. Holder’s Solomon’s Temple and the Artifact in it cannot be negated. Protect holder's Solomon's Temple and the Artifact in it from discard by an opponent. Discard this card if Asherah Pole is in holder’s Solomon’s Temple.

I would guess no because it says "Protect the artifact here" where artifact in singular and probably refers to the one that Solomon's Temple is directly holding. But I have no real authority to make rules, its just how I read the card.
-
I always assumed that the contents were protected, or at least I did back when I was making a white NT female ignore deck that actually used the ignore cards and Covenants and not just the TGT crowd.

I always assumed that the contents were protected, or at least I did back when I was a hipster, using NT white before it was so mainstream.
Fixed.

Can I get a second elder to confirm this?
-
Not an elder, but it protects the artifact which is holding two covenants so it protects the covenants by virtue that they are in the protected artifact.

Seems legit.

Assyrian Camp doesn't protect the weapons being held by the Assyrians from discard, so why should Glory of the Lord protect Covenants on an artifact?

Assyrians also don't have "hold" special abilities that allow weapons to be placed on them like BotC. Weapons are placed/held by game rule, not special ability.
Not saying that Glory of the Lord protects the two covenants necessarily... Just saying that there is a reason they could be ruled differently.
-
I would guess that Glory of the Lord ONLY protects the temple and the 1 artifact that it is directly holding. I would guess that the covenants held by Book of the Covenant would be vulnerable.
This is similar to how a magician holding Magic Charms in Kingdoms of this World can still have the Magic Charms negated and discarded by DoN in spite of the fact that the magician is protected.

I follow your logic here, but I think it's important to realize one major difference.
KotW protects only Evil Characters. I assume that's the reason it doesn't extend to weapons on those characters and Artifacts held by those characters.
Glory of the Lord protects Artifacts. Covenants that are active on Book of the Covenant are being treated as Artifacts.
I think Mark's ruling is probably correct because Glory of the Lord specifies that it protects a singular Artifact. The part I'm not sure about is whether that protection extends to all Artifacts held in Solomon's Temple. If it does only apply to a singular Artifact I think you should get to choose which one.

Would you rule that protection as dynamic or static? Could I pick Book of the Covenant this phase and Covenant of Palestine next phase?
-
Please don't take my statement as an official ruling, just me giving my :2cents: on the topic. If my opinion is accurate, then since you technically activate your Artifact each prep phase, I would rule that you could choose which of the Artifacts is protected each time.
-
I know it's just an opinion, I just wanted to hear your thoughts on one of the extensions of your thoughts.

I agree with Gabe.

I think I also agree with Gabe.

So wouldn't it be foolish to not choose the Book of the Covenant since, if it is discarded, both of the covenants are as well? Or is my understanding of that incorrect as well...
-
Your understanding is correct.
