Is there a quick way to know the genders of generic characters if it isn't in the identifier? For example: Assyrian Siege Army.
Human Characters
In Redemption®, most humans are either male or female. Usually the picture makes it obvious which a character is, but sometimes it is difficult to tell (sometimes there are a male and a female in
the picture, and you don’t know to which the name refers). In this case, use the passage as the guide.
So in this case, the passage would be our guide, and some context. ASA would be "male," because it is described in the passage as an army, and armies of that time were all-male.
Is it always immediately clear? No, I'm sure there are examples out there that might confuse people even with the context, so if you have a question, the best thing to do would be to post (especially if you feel the prevailing determination of gender versus genderless could use updating based on evidence you have), and we can discuss.
