Just wondering what gender are these 3 characters?
The Serpent
The Maltese Viper
and Saint of Virtue? (TPC)
I was kinda hoping this reprint would have the identifier like the old purple kings version one of being the same gender as the holder (would have been fun and interesting to keep that part of it again :)

The Serpent is male, the verse refers to him as "he"
Viper I would guess is genderless unless the picture is distinctly that of a male viper, not being a herpetologist I wouldn't know.
Saint of Virtue is a bit of a tougher case. The verse/title gives no clue and the art could be classified as androgynous or male, so I would guess at genderless atm.

Saint is male, to my knowledge.
Agree that Serpent is male, and I'm not sure that viper is "male" given the verse/art, more research needed.
