Are we to ignore the errata on lost souls?  I don't remember how that ruling went down.

no. the errata on the 2/3 liner is still current.

If the special ability is an identifier, then it has no special ability, and I can have 3 in a 50 card T1 deck.

Except it DOES have an SA. It's SA is to treat the SA as an identifier (i.e. CBN)...

I agree that making it just have a CBN SA would be easier, or else add to the identifier to say (...limit one copy of Lost Souls per 50 cards in deck).
