On the third topic it says

I don't know if this was simply a typo but I'm pretty sure this is wrong.  I even read the thread it references and it clearly indicates that Thad's protection does protect from the numbers of the evil charater which would prevent the hero from dying by the numbers.

I'll look up some info for you - I was fairly certain that we were still using the Protection of Angels ruling and that it wasn't protected from numbers, but I could be missing an overturn somewhere.
