Definition of "Magician"

I'm fairly certain this has been asked before, but the only thread I found was one from last year that didn't have any REG support or Elder input, so I'm asking again.

Is there an official Redemption definition for "Magician"?

At this point, I'm specifically wondering about Prophets of Baal and Prophets of Samaria (new card ideas, ftw). Pol mentioned in said 2010 thread that he was told Prophets of Baal were in fact Magicians, however the REG list of Magicians, which has been updated to include Disciples cards, does not list them, so I'm wondering if this is indeed true.

I recall the thread, but I don't think they were ruled to be Magicians, though I'm not entirely sure why. I have always assumed that in Redemption, a Magician is someone who uses the dark arts to perform satanic "miracles". I guess if the Prophets of Baal had been successful in Mount Carmel, then they might qualify, but the only thing we really know about them is that they failed.

Idk why it's not in the REG, but the last time this came up the definition for Magician was fairly broad and included, but was not limited to calling upon powers other than God to perform supernatural feats (success notwithstanding).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
