I. Fishing boat-Set this aside. Each upkeep, you may place a Hero from here beneath your deck to draw X or to give your disciples access to all Sites this turn.

Identifiers Holds up to 12 disciples
X = # of your Heroes here.

1) How does this work? Can I put heroes in and take them out whenever I want to?

2) When I place the hero beneath the deck do I count that hero towards the draw count?

You can move them in and out during your Prep Phase.

You can put them in before or after battle, but they can only be taken out during your prep phase.

No, you can only put in or out of a fortress in prep phase, unless the card specifies otherwise.

Sorry to ressurect this - but is there still an upkeep phase between draw and preparation phase?
