What is the point of not drawing on your first turn if everybody just skips around untill we start drawing?
-
In two players its only the very first person who doesn't draw the first round.
-
Then wouldn't it be considered a disadvantage to go first? In multiplayer does everybody skip drawing and why is that? Are you supposed to establish a territory before drawing, because most of the time in multiplayer we just skip around the circle.

In 2P the reason for the rule (at least as I can see it) is to keep the player who goes second from a Disadvantage. Because both players can attack on the first turn. If the First player can draw and attack, Player 2 is disadvantaged because he has to defend with their starting hand while the Opponent has more then a starting hand. As the game goes now neither player is disadvantaged, because now players have a choice, go first and battle first with their starting hand, which is good if your starting hand is good, or go second and draw first, which means you get more cards.
In Multi, no one draws because it would disadvantage everyone else at the table, but everyone can battle, so anyone can go to battle (as a RA or BC or Taunt) for the first round. And all Opponents are limited to their opening hands.

Thanks for your help!

Additionally choosing who goes first can work to your advantage both ways, if, for example you don't have any lost souls out and your opponent does, choose to go second and you get an RA the first round that your opponent doesn't get AND get to do with more cards in hand.

Not sure how you could choose to go second when you don't have LSs available and your opponent does.

If you don't have Heroes, or just REALLY want to Draw...
-
You're not following. If you do not have LSs and your opponent does, then your opponent gets to choose who goes first, not you.
-
Oh yea... Nevermind...
Then you have no choice in the matter unless an OP card comes out that somehow can suspend the rules and force you to go first or choose... Yea, that's never happening...
