Matthew 19:26 (‘Spiritual Warfare’)

Type: Lost Soul • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: During the first round this card is in play, it is protected from rescue except by a dominant or an angel.

After this Lost Soul is rescued, if it is Fallen Away, does it become protected again since it is back "in play" from the Land of Redemption?

Yes.  It triggers again each time it is placed in the Field of Play (unless there's a way to set aside a Lost Soul that I'm forgetting).

Really? I always thought that "first round" = "first round this game."

In all of my experience this card has always been played as, "When this lost soul enters play, protect it from rescue except by a dominant or an angel."  Which is a valid interpritation of what the card says, although it may not be the most intuitive one.

I was told when I used FA on FRP that it did NOT work again BECAUSE it didn't reset.

Well, Mr. Snyder, it appears that you and I have been playing it wrong all this time. Oh well. 

Oh wells. I don't really mind, it just makes the card better.
