12 views so far and no one wants to take a crack at it?ok

FBTN hero prevents the ability of demon. Trembling Demon's ability has a negate ability, unfortunatly it targets his own. (hmm...i'll negate...myself :) I think it would be funny to see this guy as he see's his reflection. AHHH!

FBTN really confuses me as well. If I play The Battle is the Lords preblock, is it the same as a FBTN hero?

The Battle is the Lord’s (FF)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Red • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by a warrior class Hero, negate all special abilities on evil Enhancements of a selected brigade. • Identifiers: OT, Based on Prophecy, Depicts a Weapon, Connected with David • Verse: I Samuel 17:47 • Availability: Faith of our Fathers booster packs (None)

This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Yes, if it's in the battle phase.  And then, only of a selected brigade.  I'm unsure how multi brigade enhancement works.

it would target multi.

I guess my question is how are prevent and negate different in a preblock situation because we have always been told that negate = interrupt + prevent but ive heard different from people the last few years.

am i wrong on this targeting multi's?

and
OLD REG
Instant Special Abilities > Interrupt or Negate Last
General Description
Interrupt is used to stop another card’s special ability until the special ability on the interrupt card is completed (see Interrupt in the glossary).  An “interrupt” goes back in time and suspends something that has already happened.  Negate is a combination of “interrupt” and “prevent”, where “prevent” is a special ability described in more detail elsewhere (see Prevent).  The “prevent” stops something from happening now or in the future.  Together, they stop past, present, and future special abilities on targeted cards.

There are three types of interrupt cards: (1) interrupting some enhancements played, (2) interrupting and preventing all special abilities on character and/or enhancement cards, and (3) interrupting the battle.  The second category is generally referred to as “play by the numbers” and is part of another special ability category (see Negate All).  The other two are described in this section.

NEW REG
Negate
General Description
A negate ability takes an ability that has already completed it's activation and undoes the effect of that ability.
How to Play
If an ability is negated the effects of the ability are completely reversed. This is done by doing the exact opposite
of what the ability did in the first place.
All negate abilities are instantaneous. Negate abilities target the abilities that they negate. A negate ability is an
interrupt effect.
Special Conditions
Abilities that have not completed activation are not valid targets for a negate ability.
Clarifications
 Abilities that are worded “negate all special abilities” (even if the ability includes an exception or is limited
to all special abilities of a certain type but not if “currently in battle” is in the ability) are actually a
combination of a prevent and a negate ability. They should be played as “negate all [specified set of
abilities] in play and prevent all [specified set of abilities] for remainder of battle.”

Well, a Multi card is a valid target for Warden, so I guess it works here too.  I'm no elder, though.

Correct. If you select black, a multi enhancement is black, so it is negated.

But I think they want to know can you choose multi for The Battle is the Lord's.  I would say no.

Multi is not a brigade. It is seven brigades (or eight if it's a good card). So you can't choose multi with TBitL
