I return home from the office in three hours.  One of two things will happen at that point.  Either I will log on and see people's avatars returned to normal, or I will log on and shut off custom avatars.

Just give the copiers a 1 day ban instead of shutting of lawabideing citziens avatars. It's a better salution.

+1  There is a time when it is appropriate to punish everyone.  It is when everyone is bad, or when you can't tell who is responsible for something bad, and no one owns up to it.  In this case it is very obvious who is doing what, and very easy to tailor punishment accordingly.

I must... I think this could have gone on a little longer. I don't see the harm in this thread, I think we all would have changed by tomorrow.

I just read the Terms of Agreement for the first time and I don't even see how this is against the rules :c.

Is it because it is defamatory? Spamming? Invasion of Personal Privacy? False?

I rarely comment on the same discussion, with another Admin.  This time, I am.  Peace to all who see light in the matter that Schaef just posted.  It was easier for him to have given a 'blanket' warning so that there will be no need to run after each perpetrator.

Many of you on this thread also know me personally.  Please return to your own avatars immediately.

Back to topic --- as one of our brothers has said.

Thanks.  Peace and God's blessings.

I've heard rumblings that GA may (FINALLY) get it this year. If so, I'll be there.

I have NO official info, but my guess would be MN in '11, and somewhere south (GA, FL, TX) in '12.  GA has several notables in the game (Tyler, Clift, Witten, R99, etc.) and especially Eric "Elder" Largent.  FL has been up and coming recently led by some other notables in the game (YMT and VP RR), multiple playgroups that are growing and spreading, and the best fringe activities with Disney World.  TX seemed to be out of the running until recently, but Terry seems to be back in business hosting this year, and has several notables in the game there too (Chad and Ben).  I would think that all 3 of those states have a good shot at '12.
