Warriors Version:
All Holder's Heroes gain 4/4 until end of holder's turn.

Priests Version:
Your Heroes gain 4/4 until end of turn.

If the Warriors Version is played in a side battle (not on your turn), the 4/4 remains until the end of your next turn, correct?  Does the 4/4 only apply to the holder's heroes in play at the time Faith as Children is played?

I would say yes to both as it does specify 'holder's' turn and the card's an instant ability that target characters when it's played.

If the heroes are converted, do they lose the 4/4?  What about captured then released?

On the Priests Version, does "end of turn" mean the current turn, or your turn?

End of turn means the current turn, always.

Characters retain gained abilities unless circumstances dictate they lose them.  With gained numbers, I'm pretty sure that only happens on reset.
