Korah's rebellion and other suicide blocks

Ok so I go out with a 9/9 big hero.

Opponent goes out with say a 2/3 evil character and plays 1/1 Korah's Rebellion which says, remove all cards in battle from the game.

Do I get to play an enhancement to negate this or is there no hero to left to play a negate card on??

Again assuming the 2/3 character is an evil character, the hero has initiative to interrupt or negate, as they are being harmed (removed from the game).
