Experience credit and capture.

I had a question that came up in a type 2 game.  Moses had experience credit and was captured by an opponent.  I used I am redemption to return Moses to my territory the following turn.  Does Moses retain his previous experience credit, or did he reset in my opponents' land of bondage.

I am Redemption 3/4 Gold CC
Return your captured heroes to your territory. Cannot be negated by an evil card.

Thanks,
Mitch

Captured characters keep their identity, according to the REG, so I would assume that means gained abilities and experience credit as well. Cards reset in the draw or discard pile only, that I am aware of.

Hey,

A captured character does retain experience credit it gained prior to being captured.

What about land of redemption?
Life is what you make of it.

Hey,

What about land of redemption?

If a character gains experience credit and is then captured and redeemed it still has the experience credit in the Land of Redemption.  In the case that it was fallen away and then someone activated Covenant of Palestine it return to being a hero with experience credit already earned.

But it doesn't count as that character for the purposes of you putting another one into play, does it?

The Land of Redemption is not a location affected by the duplicates in play rule.  So a captured character turned Redeemed soul in your land of redemption does not prevent you from putting another copy of the same character in play.
