This came up in a game today, and thought I'd ask. Its my opponents turn, and they just rescue the Shuffler LS. So all the Lost Souls get shuffled back into the decks. Afterwards, I play Falling Away on the Exchanger LS. My opponent ends their turn, making it my preperation phase. Since my opponent has no Lost Souls, can I use the Exchanger LS to give them one, even though there is nothing for me to exchange it with? Same question for Nebushasban, cause he has a simular. I know you can use the Search ability, to look through your deck or discard pile and not find the card your looking for, but didn't know if that also applied to exchanging.

Exchanger Lost Soul - if this card is in your territory during your preperation phase, you may exchange it with a lost soul in an opponent's territory (except another copy of this card)

Nebushasban - 3/3 WC Crimson Evil Character - You may exchange a Lost Soul in opponents territory with a lost soul in your territory.

Thats what I thought, and how we played it....another brilliant strategic move ruined by the rules. 

I know, I had a deck that went 369-0 and then they told me about lost souls 

Really? Wow. My lostsoul-less deck only went 243-1.

Fine, then Dungeon of Malchiah. My point is there are ways to generate lost souls, even if your opponent has none, and this strategy I think is the best way to go.
