If I have a hero in battle and he has an enhancement or two that he played during battle, and if I play old Wheel within a Wheel and exchange him with another hero in my deck, what happens to the enhancements? I know Philistine Armorbearer has the ability to keep enhancements played on him in battle when he's exchanged, so it makes me think the enhs are normally either shuffled with the hero who was exchanged or they are discarded. There's nothing in the Exchange section of the REG that talks about this. Perhaps it's in another part of the REG that I missed.

if they're the same brigade they can stay in battle for the numbers, otherwise they are discarded after the exchange and the battle continues

+1 unless it is a placed card.
Movement of Cards “Placed On” Other Cards If a card is placed on another card and the underlying card is relocated, the placed card is generally relocated (regardless of protection) to the same location that the underlying card is relocated and remains there.

Thanks. I know that placed cards follow the underlying card. I just needed to know about regular enhs that are played in battle. So they can stay in battle. That's what I was thinking. I guess Phil Armorbearer makes an exception as it is more specific to all enhs remain in battle, including placed enhs such as WCEs.
