Ending Battle(winner)?

My opponent RA's with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (only relevant SA is their banding CBN). I block Fallen Warrior, and I have 3-liner in Ashdod (Phillies may use ANY O.T. enhancement regardless of brigade color). I have obvious initiative, so I play Gibeonite Trickery, a 0/4 Brown enhancement (SA: All heroes in battle gain 0/4 and the battle immediately ends. CB Int/Prev). Fallen Warrior's SA states that he gains the cumulative abilities of those he successfully blocks. Is ending the battle considered a successful block so my Fallen Warrior gains 15/21 to become 17/23?

Did Fallen Warrior defeat them? From the sounds of it, Fallen Warrior should be discarded and you should surrender a soul or give them half the doubler. I might have misread, though.

In this case, I would say fallen warrior does not get the increase, once the battle ends, the rescue was either successful or not. during battle resolution, the only time that successful battle is decided is when a hero does or does not get a soul, and by that point fallen warrior is already discarded.

Ending the battle only makes battle resolution happen immediately, fallen warrior would be 2/6 at that point vs. a 15+/30+ band, so you would be losing at battle resolution and have to surrender a soul. Fallen warrior's ability activates after battle resolution.

Yeah,  your numbers have to be bigger than his before you end the battle.  You would gain those abilities after you sucessfully block them, not before.

I am asking THIS:

Is Gibeonite Trickery (0/4, "All Heroes in battle gain 0/4, and the battle immediately ends. CBI/P") considered a successful block so Fallen Warrior gains the 15/21 abilities of Shad, Mesh, and Abed? Either way, my Fallen Warrior is safe, since the battle ends due to GT's SA and my opponent has no negate cards.

Why is your fallen warrior safe? You end the battle while you're losing. He is discarded via numbers and you must surrender a soul.

No, it isn't. Fallen warrior wouldn't gain the abilities until after it's SA is completed.

@Rawr: I thought "The battle immediately ends" meant that everyone returns to their territories and no one is defeated?

@Smokey: I know that FW's abilities are 2/2 until the end of battle (2/6 with GT). He would get the gain after Shad/Mesh/Abed were blocked.

No. End the battle just skips to the battle resolution. If you play gib trickery on a 1/1 against a 12/12 hero, the evil character still dies by the numbers.

You MUST have higher numbers then the heroes before playing gib trick, or else you will lose the battle.

No. It means the battle immediately ends. No more cards may be played until battle resolution is over. Your opponent is defeating you, so Fallen Warrior is discarded and you surrender a soul.

EDIT: Instaposted by Lambo, but it is ok beings he is a noob and I have 99 strength.

If you're immune yes, or if the numbers of Gib Trick are enough to prevent your evil characters from dying.

My opponent RA's with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (only relevant SA is their banding CBN).

Just to clarify (for passerby readers) the Rack, Shack, and Benny band is not CBN. If Abednego enters battle first, then the next Daniel character comes in with a band that CBN by an evil card only. The third Daniel character would NOT have CBN banding.

this is true if the end battle resolves in Stale-mate with Gib. Tricks 0/4 but otherwise no
