Can this be used anytime like a heal enhancement?Satan's Folly (Ap)Type: Hero Enh. Brigade: White Ability: None Class: None Special Ability: If one of holder's Heroes is about to be discarded, Holder may substitute an Evil Character from an opponent's territory in place of the Hero being discarded. Errata: If a Hero is discarded later in this battle, discard an Evil Character in an opponents territory to heal that Hero. Identifiers: None Verse: Colossians 2:15 Availability: Apostles booster packs (Ultra Rare)
Satan's Folly was before its time. It would make a great reprint as a territory class enhancement.

It's the same concept, right?
Ah. That makes it a lot less useful. I though heal abilities could be used anytime....
I agree with that Errata, but do be aware it makes SF more powerful since it allows the Hero to stick around in battle.
As for SF being more powerful, that would be just fine with me, as it never is used as is, and might have a slight chance of being used with the change. Aside from that, I think my errata is closer to the original intent of the card, which doesn't say heal and is much more like an instead ability anyway.
Since this new errata just says "discard" wouldn't that mean the instead would fire even on a game rule discard which would mean you'd be stuck with a hero in battle after battle resolution?
I assume the way it would work is that the Hero would just return to territory, like Enoch would.
The one issue I might see there is that it might trigger multiple times in a battle, but that only makes it better, and it still seems like that's the way the card was intended anyway.
This is an enhancement played in battle, so the SA can only trigger once anyway, right?
