Does "placed" mean "place?" In other words could I play an enhancement that says "placed" with High Places?

High Places
Evil Fortress
'During your preparation and discard phases, you may play evil Enhancements that contain the word "place" in the special ability. If you capture a Hero in a territory, discard this card.'

Precisely right.  Unless they change the way the rules work regarding these cards, when the ability refers to an actual word (like High Places or I Am Love), it must be that word on the card, and ONLY that word.
