i think sites are not considered for color purposes with cards like this. Ill see what i can find.

Demonic Blockade (RA)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Orange/Brown • Ability: 0 / 6 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on Heroes and Sites in battle. Opponent's unoccupied Sites have no brigade color. • Identifiers: OT, Connected with Demons • Verse: Daniel 10:13 • Availability: Rock of Ages booster packs (None)

...suggest that sites do have color.

Emperor Vitellius (RA)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Gray • Ability: 10 / 1 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: You may draw X cards. Cannot be negated by a good card. • Identifiers: Male Human, Emperor (Rome), Royalty, Fought Earthly Battle, X = number of good brigades opponent has in play. • Verse: Josephus (NT) • Availability: Rock of Ages booster packs (None)

would this draw ability work with sites also?

Definitely not for evil Gold. Evil Gold and Good Gold are distinctly different brigades.

However, I'm not sure about discarding a Site to save a Hero. I know Site brigades are "neutral brigades" so they don't count toward the number of good brigades in a territory. I would say yes, however, based on this REG quote:

To rescue a Lost Soul in a site, a Hero must have access to the site. If a Hero does not have access to a Lost Soul, then the battle is a battle challenge. A Hero has access to a site if:

1.  the Hero’s icon box contains a matching brigade color in the icon box of the site, or

Since Heroes can have matching brigade colors with Sites, I would say you could discard a "matching" Site to save your Hero. This could also be another nice way to use unneeded access sites.

So Dragon Raid woudl satisfy the discard of any hero?

Based on that REG quote, I say yes.

Because the WA version just says Gold. Both Good Gold and Evil Gold are Gold, but they are not the same brigade.

I agree with Bryon.  Just like Evil Gold is not the same brigade as Good Gold, Neutral Gold (on a gold site) is not the same brigade as Good Gold.

Prof A, that REG quote is intriguing, but also very old   and if I remember correctly the place you pulled it from in the REG that section is a bit odd in general.  I wouldn't feel comfortable making this ruling based on that single sentence of the REG. (Although I'm glad you brought it up.)
