Title: Dust and Ashes while Job is set aside?
Post by: TimMierz on August 18, 2010, 03:17:29 PM
If Job is being set aside (not inside Dust and Ashes) and an opponent discards Job (with, say, Darius' Decree), does Dust and Ashes let you put him in the Fortress? D&A happens "If your Job is harmed or defeated...", but does it still only cover "in play" since it doesn't specify otherwise?

I would think he could still go to D&A, since he was still harmed, right? I would think it would cover in play and set-aside for Job.

Chamber of Angels doesn't look at in play only, so neither does Dust and Ashes.

If Job was in the discard pile before D&A was played then you search for Job; yes. If you discard him when D&A is up, then you cannot put him there because he wasn't harmed or defeated by an opponent.
