An opponent can force to use a character you already control (and thereby force you to choose one to d/c) but you cannot force yourself to add a second copy into battle. If moses is paralyzed in your territory (such as with the Pale Green panic demon), you cannot play transfiguration, search for another copy of moses and d/c the paralyzed moses in your territory. In that situation only Elijah would be able to join the battle. Moses would not be available to choose/target.
This is why I ask. This thread, http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=21044.0, makes me think you can fetch Moses. However, I have seen no definate answer.
Really? I dont see that as a problem because no single person is controlling both characters. I think someone rogered you on that play.
How does duplicateness work with face down? Lots of time I'll put something in The Darkness then forget about it.... but I was told I can't have an Uzzah in The Darkness and territory at the same time.If thats true, I'm going to stop using The Darkness, too confusing..... can't remember whats in there.....
I know I've heard both sides on the issue of face down. I'm fairly sure that if someone is face down, you can't have another copy of them in play.Think about what you imply with that quote adotson, out of play includes set aside. I know for a fact you can't have one unique character in your territory and set aside.
