If I play coming of the Spirit on Bartholomew to give him Clay brigade and then add peace to him, what happens when I push them into battle?

Coming of the Spirit
Search deck or discard pile for Holy Spirit. Place this on your disciple. It gains Clay brigade. Cannot be negated.

Peace
Place on a clay or blue hero: when hero is in battle alone, toss all enhancements played this battle. Cannot be interrupted.

Placed cards, unlike weapons, are only played once when you initially activate them, so placed cards are not Tossed.
