Doubt and Priests of Christ

So I've got 2 questions bout these two cards...ok, maybe only one just slightly rephrased.

I go for a rescue Attempt with Priest of Christ. My opponent blocks with Doubt from his hand. Would I still get to search for a Good dominant?

Guess this is the same question, but in a multi-player game. Player A goes for a rescue attempt against Player B using Priest of Christ. Player C throws down Doubt to assist Player B. Would Player A still get to search for a good Dominant?

Dobut
Type: Grim Reaper • Special Ability: Place in any territory. When played, this card becomes an orange brigade 0/12 Evil Character until end of turn. • Identifiers: Generic OT Genderless (not Human, not Demon)

Priest of Christ
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Teal • Ability: 4 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: This Hero is immune to demons. If opponent blocks with any Evil Characters from hand, you may search draw pile for a good Dominant and add it to hand. Cannot be negated. •

No, because if you read Doubt it says place in any territory
An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.
