Title: Dominats
Post by: wyatt_marcum on December 31, 2012, 06:53:16 PM
Is there a  certain order of initiative to playing dominants? I had an experence and have never heard of this before. what happened is hur came in, I kept son of God, drew the seven and got NJ, and so did my opponent. Who gets to play it first? I thought I would since I drew first. but I'm not sure.

(Im going to risk saying something REALLY outdated by posting here in the ruling sectoion :P)
In that case it would be who every threw it down on the table first.

Don't you get to respond to the action of drawing first?

They made me draw so I figured that I get to draw and play a dim before gifts activate since I could use destruction or something.

You cannot play cards until all abilities complete. That means that first you complete Hur. After the player draws their 7, if another player has something like Gifts of the Magi and needs to complete that ability then you must do that before anyone can insert a Dominant. Once all active abilities are completed, whoever plays their Dominant first gets to activate it first.

In the event that two people play their Dominant at the same time, then whomever was responding to their own action gets priority. For example if Gifts of the Magi was the last game action, the player that draw from GotM would receive the tie breaker.
