Nothing can be chained to the activation of A New Beginning. Since the ability ends both the battle and the turn before it resolves, it's considered to have "cannot be interrupted" status. It can be prevented or negated before it's played, but not negated or interrupted after.

I find this extremely annoying that the reg doesn't event mention that this card can not be interrupted... There must be an easier way to determine if a card is "considered to have CBI" status....
The only cards that cannot be interrupted in battle under normal circumstances are ones that say Cannot be Interrupted/Cannot be Negated, or cards that end the battle. Most end the battle cards say "Cannot be negated", but the two that don't (A New Beginning and Heavy Taxes) can both be prevented, but not interrupted. This is because once the battle is ended by a special ability, nothing else can happen during the battle.
There is no "afterwards". They end the battle, and that's that. The game moves to battle resolution and then the discard phase. There are no enhancements you can play in battle after ANB or Heavy Taxes activate and resolve.
Do you have a specific example? I can't think of any CBN enhancements offhand that don't either end the battle specifically or cause the removal of the opposing character.
