Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
No, you can't play it for no effect. You can discard it for CoM or something though.No. You played yours.I'm too lazy to go look up and discussion about whether Judas' Plot undoes the playing of a card, but it's been answered before in the discussion about whether NJ will rescue a soul if you JP SOG.Also, if you want to search, just use google. Insert site:www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards before your search term.

QuoteIf I play SoG/NJ for no effect, completely forgetting that the speed bump lost soul is out, can my teammate use their SoG/NJ?In cases like this where there is no legal target, I think you can just pick the cards back up.
I know there is a rule about that with Dominants but I'm not sure what circumstances qualify or if its ruled consistently. Maybe it is only for slapjack situations where there becomes no legal target?
