does protect targets before or after search abilites? It's a order of operations question. No true example.

Can you think of a time when it would come up? It may be a moot point.

The only order of Operations I know of makes no mention of those two abilities. There must be some example that made you ask this question.

Here is the only order I know:

1. Character abilities
2. Gained character abilities
3. Weapons on characters
4. Banding abilities on characters
5. CTB abilities on characters.
