Yes I think it protects from search.
search is just going thru your deck and looking at stuff you would be required to do that unless you had memorized the positions of the cards in your deck which is pretty cheap and jerkish.
i think it is  yes but im just a noob.

Exchange abilities that require a search of a deck (Great Faith, Numerous as the Stars, etc.) cannot happen. Exchange abilities that don't require a search of the deck (but maybe the discard pile, like Seven Sons or King Lemuel) can happen.

Nazareth plus anti-draw LS  ftw. 

Nazareth kills ANB reset decks, prophets search/false peace decks..  this site is just nasty in type 2 and it wrecks a lot of metagame strategies in type 2
