Title: Does King Amon (Di) work with Manasseh (Pr)?
Post by: Professoralstad on October 05, 2010, 01:01:19 PM
See above. Manasseh and King Manasseh are obviously the same person, but since there is no card called King Manasseh in your discard pile, would Amon work?

King Amon (Di)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Brown • Ability: 2 / 2 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: If blocking and King Manasseh is in your discard pile, search discard pile for a brown O.T. evil Enhancement or an O.T. Artifact depicting an idol.

Hey,

See Prince Jonathan and Promised Land with regards to David and King David.

I'm pretty sure the conclusion from that was that if you're referring to the person then you do no include the title, so if the title is included it's referring to the specific card and not the person in general.  So the new King Amon would not work with the old Manasseh.

That's lame. It should. I want Manasseh to be as broken as he can be, and having one in the discard pile and an awesome one in the territory would be epic.

I was afraid of that conclusion. But I guess I can't disagree. So old Amon works with new King Manasseh, and new Amon does NOT work with old Manasseh.
