Why isn't Golden Lampstand considered to be "depicting a weapon"

If you want to read my fake yet emotional story, read this post. If you just want to answer my question, read the last part of this post.

I was running off to a tournament earlier, happy as can be. I sit down to enjoy a riveting game of booster draft, excited at every Destruction passed my way! Then, I saw it. It was beautiful, but powerful. Wonderful, but dangerous. I just had to have it, so I took the card Book of the Wars. It was mine now, ready to use it to decimate my opponents.

I attack with my hero, Shagmar, and quickly play it. It is still my initiative, so I play Golden Lampstand.
"Woah son, slow downz a second!" my opponent yelps.
"u r jus mad dat u r gunna got owned lolololololololol...." I retort.
"According to the REG, Golden Lampstand doesn't depict a weapon! You can't play it on Shagmar!"

I was crushed. My dreams were dead. How could I go on playing a game that doesn't allow me to play Golden Lampstand on Shamgar after using Book of the Wars?

So, here is my question. Why isn't Golden Lampstand considered to be "depicting a weapon"? The lampstand is clearly visible, and precedence (The board game Clue) says that Lampstands can indeed be a very powerful weapon.

Unless it is considered to be "depicting a weapon" I will quit Redemption forever! And Ring Wraith will make you all feel soooo guilty. Also, at future tournaments you know y'all will say, "Wow. I'm glad I got first, but it doesn't feel like a victory beings I didn't compete against Rawrlolsauce!"

Rawrsauce, on the forums, with a lampstand.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
