I realize this is probably opening a can of worms (again) about "defeated", but...

I block with Assyrian Survivor, play Achan's Sin. Does Survivor get captured to the opponent's land of bondage?

Achan's Sin (Pa)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 1 / 1 • Class: None • Special Ability: Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Joshua 7:25

Assyrian Survivor (FF2)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 2 / 2 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: Protected from discard abilities on opponent’s cards. If defeated, capture to opponent's Land of Bondage. Cannot be interrupted. • Play As: Protect from discard abilities on opponent’s cards. If defeated, capture to opponent's Land of Bondage. Cannot be interrupted. • Identifiers: Generic OT Male Human, Assyria, Fought Earthly Battle • Verse: Isaiah 31:8
ANB is good. Change my mind.

It's not a question about being defeated. It's a question of whether he can come back from being removed from the game. I say yes.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

This question was just asked (by me actually), here's the thread it was.

http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/ruling-questions/assyrian-survivor-and-suicidal-swine-stampede/

The only ruling I can seem to get from that would be Underwood's statement that "the same rules that apply to DoU should also apply to SS. "

It does seem that the current consensus is that no matter where it ends up, it still works.  Again, "Defeat" needs a complete overhaul in its definition.  Right now, it only mentions Discard or losing to a hero.  It does not mention any other abilities, including removal.  The facts that the hero did not win the battle and the EC was not discarded would mean (by a literal reading of the rules) that Survivor was not defeated.  However, it seems it is going to be ruled otherwise.  All the more reason to correct Defeat.
