Title: Discard after use
Post by: Cameron the Conqueror on January 11, 2009, 06:42:27 PM
Burial Shroud

Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Holder may not make a rescue attempt or be attacked. May be used twice. • Play As: Prevent holder from making a rescue attempt. Protect holder from being attacked. May be used twice. • Identifiers: None • Verse: John 20:4-5 • Availability: Apostles booster packs (Ultra Rare)

After I use it twice, must i discard it?  Some say "discard after use", but BS doesn't.  IMO, I don't because it nowhere says that I do.  (I want to use it with Uzzah :))

Cards with limited use are discarded after their final use.  In the case of Burial Shroud it's discarded when it's 2nd use is complete.  It stays in play until from your Prep phase when you activate it until your next prep phase when you'd choose a new artifact.  Technically you couldn't use it for Uzzah during that time because you can't be attacked.

Quote from: REG
Some artifacts, covenants, or curses have a limited number of times you can use them. When these come to an end, you must discard them immediately. Once such an artifact, covenant, or curse is activated, it must be counted as having been used. This is true even if other events duplicate the effect of the artifac, covenant, or curse during the turn.[\quote]
