When Destructive Sin is played, how do we handle cards in the effected player's storehouse?  Are they discarded?

Destructive Sin (TP)

Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Orange • Ability: None • Class: Territory • Special Ability: Place on a Hero. While this card remains, negate special abilities on that Hero and its owner's good Fortresses and Covenants. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Ecclesiastes 9:18
Proverbs 3:6

I agree they sit there. Beings two non-elders agree on something, this thread will now go on for 10 pages arguing about a different topic.

Sent to hand.

I would have thought they would have sat there (or maybe been discarded)? Since cards are put there during discard phase, it seems that if the SA of storehouse was negated, they would have been discarded. But then again if there really was a storehouse somewhere, and the owner was plagued with destructive sin, the storehouse would be destroyed and the contents could be salvaged? or does the destructiveness also apply to the contents? :P

Storehouse (Pa)
Type: Fortress • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Unused enhancements may be placed here face up during discard phase. Any one enhancement from Storehouse may be placed in holder's hand during player's Site phase. • Play As: Holder may place unused enhancements face up here during Discard Phase. Holder may return one enhancement from Storehouse to hand during Preparation Phase. Storehouse may hold any number of enhancements[, Covenants, or Curses]. • Identifiers: Play to territory. • Verse: Genesis 41:56 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Rare)

they're placed. storehouse isn't holding them. that's just where they happen to be placed, and storehouse can pick 'em up

we are not going to argue in this thread!!! and it certainly won't be for 10 pages.

Ok. Going with the "they sit" answer. Does the same apply to the Tabernacle and active artifacts held there?

Storehouse has two abilities: "You may place enhancements here." and "You may take one enhancement out on your prep phase." The fact that it can hold enhancements is not an ability, it's just an effect of the placement. So DS negates the ability to place, and the ability to take out. That is to say, the enhancements sit there.

The Tabernacle can hold an Artifact due to its identifier, which is not negated by DS. So it can continue to hold a Tabernacle Artifact.

I dont like this ruling. There is too much confusion between identifiers and special abilities. One is an identifier and the other is an ability? Why? I would say because one didnt have enough room on the card so we can put it right here under the pic with out thinking about the ramifications of our actions and how they fit within the perimeters of the game. But who cares, we'll make it up as we go.

This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I feel as though S-temple should have an identifier in the REG similar to The Tabernacle
