What are the Rules to deck shuffling? (before game starts) My question's are...
1. Is there a minimum amount of times you need to "Shuffle" your deck
2. In the first 5 turns of Opponent drawing no Souls can a judge shuffle their deck?
3. Are you allowed to Shuffle opponents deck before game starts? (Hake said this was a rule some where...)
4. Any other rules out there?

Redemption® Rulebook > Beginning a Game > Preparations (page 4)

Start by thoroughly shuffling your deck. Your opponent(s) may also shuffle your deck. After completing your shuffle, cut your opponent’s deck by leaving at least five (5) cards in the smaller pile. When more than two people are playing, each player will cut the deck of the player to his left.

1. No, you are required to make an "honest effort" to randomize your deck though.
2. I've never heard of a rule like this, maybe it's a house rule?
3. Yes. In multi-player you are also technically allowed to shuffle each opponents deck. However, most of the time people forgo this opportunity and just cut their opponent(s) deck.
4. Shuffling is meant to make the game fair. Fair games are more fun. Keep this in mind.

It isn't a rule, but if a person requests that you shuffle their cards in "piles" so as to bend them, then you shouldn't do a "normal" shuffle and bend their cards.

Also, anytime that someone searches a deck, we always ask that the opponent be allowed to cut it after their shuffle.  Otherwise they know approximately where certain cards are in the decks (top, middle, bottom), and can shuffle so as to change that.  Does this sound reasonable?

Not only that, but the rules demonstrate that the opponent can give the deck another quick shuffle then as well.  Sometimes I'll sift the cards a couple extra times just to make sure we're good and shuffled. :)
