Deafening Spirit Q

So, say if I use Deafening Spirit in battle, and discard it w/ Grapes O' Wrath while Tartaros is out, does it go there? On a related note, if I play it on my Wandering Spirit and they end up getting discarded, does Wandering Spirit put Deafening Spirit to the bottom also? What would happen to it if it went to Tartaros and a demon wins? It wouldn't get released, would it?

1. Yes, it goes to Tartaros.
2. Yes.
3. No. While it would go to Tartaros initially because of Tartaros' "held in Tartaros" ability, after the battle it reverts back to an EE and would not be released by Tartaros' "return one Demon" ability.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I don't have access to the card itself to doublecheck right now but according to the ability posted here, at no point is Deafening Spirit a demon.  So it would not be targeted by Tartaros or Wandering Spirit.

But for the sake of discussion, if Deafening Spirit was a demon and if you discarded DS, it would go to Tartaros.  However it would automatically revert to an enhancement at the end of battle and since it would no longer be a legal target for Tartaros then it would be discarded.  And hypothetically Wandering Spirit would return it to bottom of deck if discarded during battle.

1. Deafening Spirit only says evil character (not demon).
2. It says until end of battle so i think there is an issue of battle resolution (is battle resolution part of the battle phase?)
3. Tartaros has a place ability, so if Deaf Spirit could go there it would revert to an enhancement and stay (as Polarius said) see Doubt ruling.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Ha, I didn't even read the REG entry, just copy/pasted. I was going off the actual card which IDs it as a Demon. I don't see how it can't be classified as anything but a demon if you treat it as an evil character (hence the name, Deafening Spirit). I would think the print on the actual card would be correct, and not the REG.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure we played it right, (DS went under w/ WS) since the battle isn't over until hero leaves battle?

The card is correct over the REG, the REG is fatally flawed in that it doesn't always list certain identifiers (like what X in an ability means, etc.).

Tartaros and Wandering Spirit are both insteads, so I think the ruling of "whichever was out first works" would apply here. INE, though.

If u had both, Tartaros takes precedence over WS.

I've never played w/ Tartaros before, so l do have one more Q. The phrase "all demons that holder discards" means demons that u discard w/ a special ability or by the numbers, and not demons your opponent discards by the numbers or by an effect, right? In other words, If an opponent AotLs my Prince I can't put it in Tart, but if I AotL Prince I can put it in Tart? Yes?

Correct. If the owner of Tartaros discards any demon by any means, it goes in there.

I'm pretty sure its still a demon.  That is probably a typo.  The Card actually has a demon identifier.

It may be the other way around. The card may have been the typo. I'm not sure that an enhancement should have an identifier as a demon, unless the identifiers were conditional upon the conversion to an EC.

The identifiers are conditional upon conversion. Deafening Spirit is a Demon when its SA activates, but not in deck/Discard/hand.
