So are choose the blocker abilites CBI?  I remember someone saying that, can't find the thread, and the REG doesn't mention it.

Yes, they are CBI.  I'm pretty sure that the new REG does mention that.

Yes, they are CBI.  I'm pretty sure that the new REG does mention that.
So I attack with Ehud ROA version, choose opponent's KoT, play Ehud's Dagger, they pretty much can't do anything about it other than CM/Unholy Writ and the like.  That is awesome!

So is the reasoning for this similar to the reasonng that "play an enhancement" abilities are CBI?  It could lead to some complicated and ridiculous scenarios?

Correct for the example and the reasoning.

Hey,

First, the CBI only applies if the ability is used before a blocker is presented, if you use Obedience of Noah in the middle of a battle it isn't CBI.  Second, I was under the impression this was a change that would go live with the new REG.  I don't object to it being implemented immediately, I just thought it hadn't been.

Tschow,

This came up at the EC Regional tournament and it was ruled that choose the blocker is CBI if the ability is used before the blocker is presented. Choose the blocker can be interrupted if used after a blocker is presented. However, does choose the attacker work the same way?

How does one choose the attacker before an attacker is presented?
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.
