Joiada's Strength vs Scattered

Joiada's Strength against grey EC playing Scattered. Who wins?

Am I immune to brown brigade on Scattered or does it not contain brown brigade if played on a grey EC?
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

My inclination would be that the heroes would've be immune because it's a gray EC but I could be wrong.

Question sort of related: Would Bear be immune to Seeker playing Sam's Edict?

My guess would be no, but it might be current because it's a character instead of an enhancement.

Well, ECs immune to Blue are immune to Joseph, even if he uses a Green enhancement.  So I don't think it matters if it is played on a Gray character.  It's still a Brown card.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

Based on previous rulings on Herod's Treachery: 1 2
And the thread referenced regarding Joseph: 1
And the general way we treat these abilities and brigades, I would rule thusly (if anyone has a different idea, let me know):

Being immune to brown brigade means that it "cannot be targeted by an ability that is on a card to which it is immune or on a card played on that card" (The REG, Immunity, How to Play).  If immune to the whole brigade, as in this case, that includes characters and enhancements by definition.  Even if it is played on a Gray character, Scattered is still Brown.

If you were immune to just Brown characters, then you would only be immune to Scattered if it were played by a Brown character (or at least one that was part Brown).  That is not the case here, however.
