Crowds Lost Soul

Crowds: While you have drawn 4 or fewer cards this turn, protect your hand and deck from opponents' cards.

Just to clarify, if I rescue the "When rescued draw 1" lost soul, I don't get to draw because that is my opponent's card and it can't make me draw a card from my deck right?

Protecting your deck doesn’t protect you from forced draw because draw abilities don’t target the deck.

I think they target the player.

So forced drawling like that LS, Arepagus, Kindness (EC) still trigger Abom through the Crowds LS then?

If I’m not mistaken I was told before on here (I believe by an elder) that a protected deck protects from forced draws. I’ll have to try and find the thread.

Actually yeah, according to the REG the default target for a draw ability is the top of the deck. If a deck is protected that should include forced draws.

That is correct. This is why Jerusalem Tower is unplayable  :P

Wouldn’t it also apply to non-mandatory draws, such as Generous Giving (Interrupt the battle. Each player may draw 3 cards...)?
