1. Only while Guardian Angel is in battle does he grant access to all sites for angels. If it lasted forever, there would be a "for remainder of game" or similar clause.

2. No, Warrior in Training is human.

A rule of thumb for angels:

All silver brigades are angels and all angels are silver brigade.

Of course, if you are converted to silver, that doesn't make the hero an angels (I could see all the girls with their personal cards using gold shields to convert themselves to silver and telling everyone "see, I told you I'm an angel" :p)

The issue was debated a while back and an official ruling was made. Warrior in Training was originally ruled an angel because of the picture, but that was overruled by the general rule that RTS stated: All angels are in the silver brigade only.

From now on, the Warrior in Training is not the angel pictured in the rafters. He is the human sneaking in the back of the sanctuary wearing a brown trench coat. If he wasn't in training, he would be wearing blue like all the other people (hence the Blue Brigade designation).

why choose the random person in the back?

He's not random. He's the only human not wearing blue. Besides, a warrior who is training needs to carry his weapon with him, which he can conveniently hide under the trench coat.
