Couple of Easy Questions

Our family is new to Redemption and it has been a huge learning curve but we love the game.  A couple of very basic questions that have come up that I want to just make sure that I understand.  Actually we have a bunch but most have been answered in the Reg or on the boards.  But these two I have probably over complicated.

1.  Negate all banding.  That means all the banded characters go back to territory correct?  Unless they say that they cannot be negated.

2.  Discard last enhancement.  If that enhancement was a "draw card" does the drawn card go back?  As I understand the SA takes effect as soon as it is played and connot be undone unless it is negated.....is that correct?

Basic questions but ones that I want to make sure I have correct.

1. if I have a character in a fortress and band him into battle from that fortress and the band is negated, does my character go back to that fortress?

2. Unless the drawn card was played. There's that played word again. scenerio: if i play and enhancement that lets me draw a card and band and the character that i band in was drawn- what happens to the character if the draw card is negated?

I complicated the questions a little more to try to understand them as well...
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I used to walk five miles, uphill, through the snow, just to get to a Redemption tournament, and in those days the banded heroes would return to their original location because it was like the banding never happened.  But these days there's all these newfangled definitions of words like "negate", "play", "playce", "cannot be prevented", etc. that it's probably better if I just stay in my rocking chair.

Welcome to the Boards!

1. Yes, that would mean all banded characters would go back to territory under normal circumstances.

2. I believe in this case the enhancement would be discarded, but the drawn enhancement wouldn't go back because the ability wasn't negated.

M is correct, and to answer RTSM's extra bits, the characters go back to [original location] be it territory, hand, fortress, deck, Discard Pile, wherever. The expansion on the second question is a totally different question.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

When a card with multiple abilities is negated, I usually rule that the abilities are undone in the reverse order in which they are done. For example, if you negate a card that lets you draw and then band, the band would get undone and then the draw would be undone. So, I would rule that if the banded character was the drawn card, it would indeed return to the deck. I have no idea if this is the correct way to rule this, though, so I'll defer to someone who's more sure of the answer. :P
