Is a character converted in battle considered defeated?
The REG says that, among other things, a character is defeated when it is removed from battle by a special ability. Does converting a character fall under this stipulation?
More specifically, if Assyrian Survivor is converted, does it get sent to your opponent's Land of Bondage after battle anyway, and, if it does, is it a captured Hero?
Assyrian Survivor • Protect from discard abilities on opponent's cards. If defeated, capture to opponent's Land of Bondage. Cannot be interrupted.
