Interrupt banding

I was taught that banding stuck even through interruption, is this correct?
For example if i block with Lots Wife banded to Scribe then they use Reach of desperation does Scribe go back to territory?

An interrupt temporarily undoes and suspends an ability.  If a band ability is interrupted, then the characters that were banded in are 'returned' to territory while the ability is suspended, more or less.  You could not, for example, interrupt Lot's Wife and then play something to discard Scribe that specifically targeted battle.  However, if you interrupted the band and then discarded Lot's Wife, by the rules of suspended abilities the band ability could not reactivate, and it 'fizzles'.  Interrupted bands would also cascade suspend everything based off of that band.  If the band does not reactivate, neither do they.

Now, that's to answer the question about what happens when a band is interrupted, but that would not happen in this case.  Interrupt the Battle interrupts abilities activated in battle which are ongoing effects (which this is not, it is instant), abilities defeating your characters (this is not), or the last card played in battle, if played by an opponent.  By definition, Scribe was played when it entered battle.  Essentially, band abilities can never be affected by Interrupt the Battle, because the banded character was played and band is instant.

Hope that answers the specific question and interrupt vs band in general.

I was following all the way up to this sentence : "Essentially, band abilities can never be affected by Interrupt the Battle, because the banded character was played and band is instant."
Are you trying to say that they are not affected by just interrupts because they would come back after unless the character that has the band ability is no longer in battle, for example if i played Counsel of Abigail Scribe would then go back to territory then Lots Wife would go under my deck. In which case that would result in a lost soul since Lots Wife is no longer in battle to re trigger in order to bring Scribe back? I hope i make sense sorry :)

Counsel of Abigail would not interrupt Lot's Wife because she is not the last card played by your opponent. Scibe is interrupted, but remains in battle when you underdeck Lot's Wife.

Not exactly.

Interrupt the Battle interrupts abilities activated in battle which are ongoing effects (which this is not, it is instant), abilities defeating your characters (this is not), or the last card played in battle, if played by an opponent.

To help clarify, Interrupt the Battle will interrupt the following:

1. "Ongoing" abilities activated in battle - Lot's Wife's band is not "ongoing," it is "instant."
2. Abilities that remove your character from battle - Lot's Wife is not doing that.
3. The last card played by an opponent - The last card your opponent played was Scribe, not Lot's Wife.

I think i have a issue of determining what is ongoing and instant, do you have a good example of some ongoing abilities

The REG groups all abilities by instant and ongoing at the start of the document.

Ongoing abilities continue to function throughout the phase and can affect cards later in battle. Some examples of ongoing abilities are prevent, protect, and immune.

Instant abilities activate just once and have no effect later. Some examples of instant abilities are discard, exchange, and band.

As Gabe stated above, the REG breaks down all abilities into the two categories.

Actually, I get what you mean about having confusion regarding instant or ongoing for band.  I've found it is common to have this problem with band for some players, because the character remains in battle as a result of the band, so it is believed that is has to be ongoing.  That's not the case, as band only brings them in once, it isn't what keeps them there.  That they stay in is not on going effect but a game state.  I get why there is confusion, just know that band is instant and only activates when the band is activated.
