Is Gib Trick's Increase permanent? Gibeonite Trickery (Pa)Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Brown • Ability: 0 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: Each Hero in battle gains 0/4 and the battle immediately ends. Ability can not be interrupted or prevented. • Play As: Increase each Hero in battle 0/4 until the end of battle. Battle immediately ends. The increase should be permanent. Unfortunately, several of the Play As's in the REG missed the update. But yeah, Gib Trick's 'Play As' goes against the established rule without an errata, so it should be played as if the increase is permanent.

Abilities/rules were given the most attention, but fixing Play As's is a pretty big item, and hopefully it will be done relatively soon. The best that can be done for now is that if a card says Play As, but it changes what the ability actually does and is not just updated wording, it needs to be modified to errata or removed. One thing that helps is pointing out the cards with faulty Play As when you see them, and that will make it easier to modify them. I can assist by creating a thread for such a purpose, and Gibeonite Trickery will be the first entry. Thanks for pointing it out.
