Still, I'm not that talented at navigating the REG.
So, what are all the banding cards? Is Captain of the Host a banding card, since it says banding in the SA???
" Special Ability: Negate all non-weapon class special abilities except banding.  "
Or, does it need to actually band cards in?

IMO, a banding card is a card that can band.  No, CotH is not a "banding" card.

Cameron is correct. Every "banding card" in the REG is a card that brings characters into battle.

I believe it is "good enough for me" in German and spelled poorly.

Amish is different, and I'm not sure there is a written Amish dialect, so

FYI... YMT knows about the miniscule s.

 Lowercase "f" was commonly used as a replacement for lowercase "s" back in those days. Not really sure why, but it's another funny quirk of the English language.
