Choosing the character your opponent uses

Just a few more questions.

How do “choose the evil character your opponent uses to block” hero enhancements work?

How do “choose the hero your opponent uses to rescue” evil enhancements work?

How does Belt of Truth work?  When is it played?  I mean, realistically, how would this card be useful?

Thank you for your kindness,
Ammian

The first two are pretty straight up.  You enter battle and when you're allowed to play an enhancement you play your "choose" card and choose either hero or EC from your opponent.

Belt of Truth (Ki)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Multicolor • Ability: 3 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on evil cards with the word False, Lies, Deceived, or Deceit in the title. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Ephesians 6:14 • Availability: Kings booster packs (Ultra Rare)

Any card that has the words False, Lies, Deceived, or Deceit in the title of card (the top part)...that card's special ability(the bottom of the card) is negated.

I don't see Belt of Truth being that useful unless you're use'n guys like Moses, Ira, Benaiah, or guys like that, that just fight by the numbers.

Sweet ...so what about the warriors version of Belt of Truth (the one released in the Warriors set)?  Would that work the same way, or would it only block Lies?

Belt of Truth (Wa)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Multicolor • Ability: 3 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: Hero is immune to Lies. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Ephesians 6:14 • Availability: Warriors booster packs (Ultra Rare)

Not sure on this one.  I would say that you're immune to all special abilies with Lies in the SA, but not 100% sure on this one man.  Either way, these cards to not to useful in my opinion.

If a Hero plays Belt of Truth (Wa) then your opponent cannot use Lies against that Hero in battle, as Lies withdraws the current rescuer(s) and replaces it/them with a new, selected Hero. You cannot withdraw a Hero who is immune to the card that would withdraw it though.

Yes. It gives your attacking Heroes another 3/4 in stats. And I suppose if there was ever a card that said: "All of your Evil enhancements are worth 3/3" and that ability was active when your opponent played Confusion, the 3/ would not be counted against a Hero who used HoS...
