If I understand your question right then yes. Your first evil enhancement cannot be prevented by Captain's ability unless a covenant is in play of course.

Just because its called a covenant doesn't mean it is one. Secondly it is already CBP when it is played, so it doesn't lose it. Thirdly, Covenant with Death is already CBN. Fourthly I'm fairly sure you were just making a humorous comment and not asking a serious question so all of the above is probably unnecessary.
