Title: CBN Side Battle

If I were to play a side battle card that has CBN status (such as Cup of Wrath on old Thomas), does that grant all abilities inside that side battle CBN status as well by virtue of being involved in the resolution of the side battle card's CBN special ability?

Nope. Only the act of causing the side battle is cbn.
