Are CBN Characters' enhancements CBN?

Can you provide an example of what you are asking, since that seems too vague a question to answer?

Sorry. Example: Michael (aw) uses Angel Sword. Is Angel Sword CBN since Michael is CBN?

If the character says that enhancements can't be negated, then the enhancements can't be negated. Ex: Benjamin, Michael, Namaan.

If the Hero just says "Cannot be negated." or "This ability cannot be negated.", then the enhancements are vulnerable. Ex: The Generous Widow, Alexander.

Another question along the line of this topic.

Example:  Opponent negates special ability on my heroes with a card like Confusion of Mind or Golden Calf. If one of my heroes happens to be Joshua the High Priest. Does that mean that enhancements played by Joshua the High Priest can be now be negated because Josh's special ability is negated or does Josh's special ability not get negated?

Confusion of Mind
Type: Curse • Brigade: Pale Green • Ability: 0 / 6 • Class: None • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on opponents’ Heroes. An opponent may discard two good Enhancements (or a good Dominant) from hand to discard this card. Cannot be negated.

Golden Calf
Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: • Special Ability: Prevent all special abilities on O.T. heroes. Cannot be negated. Discard this artifact if Moses, Hosea or Amos win a battle.

Joshua the High Priest
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Teal • Ability: 7 / 8 • Class: None • Special Ability: Enhancements used by this Hero cannot be negated. If a silver brigade Hero is in play, this Hero is immune to pale green brigade.

If the character says that enhancement's can't be negated, then the enhancements can't be negated. That's what Joshua says, and nothing will stop that from happening. If CoM or Golden Calf are active, enhancements used by Joshua still cannot be negated.

That's what I thought. Just to make sure I understand the whole situation completely let me throw another scenario out there. Let's assume once again Confusion of Mind or Golden Calf is active and I rescue with Amariah the High Priest. Since his special ability says cannot be interupted CoM and Golden Calf would actually be to prevent special abilities played by Amariah. Right?

Amariah the High Priest
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Teal • Ability: 7 / 6 • Class: None • Special Ability: Enhancements used by this Hero cannot be interrupted.

How would that work?  The ability itself is not CBN.  So if they stop it before it is used, shouldn’t enhancements afterwards able to negate.

This is how I’m seeing it.  Imagine Joshua having a sword (his ability) that when he uses it, nothing can block it (i.e. when he uses his ability with an enhancement, the enhancement can’t be stopped).  Now say I come after him and stop him from even using the sword by some supernatural powers (preventing his ability).  If he is not using the special sword, then why can’t I stop his attacks?

Because he says that it cannot be negated. So it can't. You are not stopping the sword, in your analogy. You are trying to make the sword stoppable. Basically his ability says that whenever he does use a sword, it can't be stopped. You can stop him using the sword by capturing him or discarding him... but if he plays the sword (and enhancement), then no matter what you do you cannot negate it.

How would that work?  The ability itself is not CBN.

But it is, it is. REG: "Cannot be negated limits negates to other abilities. These abilities are unique because the cannot be negated ability cannot be targeted by a negate." King Zedekiah's "Dungeon of Malchaiah cannot be negated" ability cannot be negated. Joshua's "Enhancements cannot be negated" cannot be negated. All CBN abilities cannot be negated, even if they don't explicitly mention themselves.

Sweet.  One of my heroes just got even better :)
