Title: Cards signed by artist or important people

Is a signed card still playable? What about one that has been modified by the signer?

As long as the signature doesn't obscure the card beyond easy recognition or of course change the way the card looks or feels from the back inside a sleeve then it should be fine. Ultimately it's at the discretion of the host/deck checker but my guess is that it would hardly ever be an issue.
